1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing or using the Sportify mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. Event-specific terms, conditions and disclaimers set by each event organiser apply in addition to these Terms and are displayed during registration.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Malaysian users register with a MyKad number, from which gender and date of birth are derived automatically. International users register with a passport number and country of issue.

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• Participants under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.
• Sportify may suspend accounts that provide false information or misuse rewards.

3. Event registration

Registrations are made per category and distance. A single account may register up to ten (10) participants in one order ("group registration"). The account holder is responsible for obtaining each participant's consent and ensuring their details are accurate.

3.1 Category eligibility

Certain categories are restricted by age, gender, religion or nationality (for example, 5KM Kids for ages 7–12 or 21KM Muslimah for female Muslim participants). Ineligible registrations may be cancelled without refund.

3.2 Early bird pricing

Early bird prices are available for a limited time or number of slots, whichever ends first. Prices revert to normal pricing automatically thereafter.

4. Payment, tax & fees

All prices are in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). Payment is processed through our online payment partner (FPX, card, e-wallet). Applicable tax is calculated on the final billing amount according to the prevailing tax ranges. A confirmation email and e-receipt is sent automatically once payment succeeds.

An administrative fee of RM10.00 applies to any registration change or T-shirt size change after payment.

5. Refunds & changes

Registration fees are non-refundable except where an event is cancelled by the organiser. Transfers of registration to another person are subject to organiser approval and the admin fee above.

6. Race kit collection

Race kits are collected by presenting the order QR code (group or individual) at the race kit counter. Items may be collected separately; outstanding items remain tracked against your registration until the end of the collection period. Uncollected items after the event will be forfeited.

7. Points, vouchers & cashback

1. Members earn 10 points per KM registered and 2% back in points on orders of RM100 and above.
2. 100 points equal RM1.00 cashback, redeemable at checkout.
3. Vouchers redeemed with points are non-refundable, non-transferable and have no cash value.
4. A welcome voucher is issued automatically upon account activation, including for pre-registered members.
5. Points expire 15 months after they are earned.

8. Insurance & liability

A compulsory insurance fee of RM5.00 per participant provides Personal Accident coverage up to RM10,000 for the event duration. Participants run at their own risk and declare that they are medically fit. Sportify and event organisers are not liable for loss, injury or damage except as required by law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
